HomeWhat I'm writingPrioritising

I’ve finished my short story apart from one word. I know it needs changing but I haven’t found the right replacement. Rather than launch straight into the next writing project I decided to take stock and prioritise.

I discovered I’m juggling 34 writing projects at the moment. Some of them are complete and being sent out to agents and publishers. Some of them need editing. Some of them are ready to enter competitions later in the year and some I’ve put on hold so they may not get any attention for a couple of years.

It’s exciting to see so much writing on the horizon. I can’t wait to get started on a book set in Jerusalem in about 40AD but I’m going to have to sit on it a while longer. I’ve four more important priorities to deal with first, including two novels involving Adam Adams and Sam from my Conker Conspiracy story.
