Fortunately the Milk by Neil Gaiman – book review
Dad pops out to the corner shop to get some milk and comes back with a tale of adventure that his children can’t believe is true – but is it? Chris Riddell’s illustrations match the wackiness of Neil Gaiman’s story involving time travel, aliens, gods, wumpires, a regiment of galatic dinosaur police and, of course, milk.
It’s a quick read taking less than an hour even with the first half being read out loud as a bedtime story. I’m going to have to read the second half again tomorrow night.
If you’ve read it, how do you rate it? [ratings]
